This is awesome! All parts was OK? Or did you have any problems? Any updates sugestions?
Hi, I did had some minor issues that i could solve without the hassle. my first attempt to print the body of the car failed as it overturned just before it was finished. in the second attempt i used some support under the two overhangs under the bottom, and it solved the problem, remember to print with 3 parameters so that the body becomes strong and can handle wheel suspension mounting etc. they fit tight.
I think the brackets for the steering wheel need to be reinforced in the lower part and need support when printed, I ended up printing mine in PETG because it broke during assembly the first time.
The number for the motorhood is too loose and needs a drop of glue to stay seated.
It was well worth the trouble I think, my little Car-a-mel is now decorating my shelf :-) I'm ready to print the next one, witch color hmmm ?
“Brackets for the steering”- do you means part marked as 008-holder? If yes lower part was already reinforced, its included in zip file. Download again. 001-body and 008- holder i was both printing without supports but with raft! Important. Holder was ok without supports and also without raft. Both tested on Ender 3pro ,Creality 10Spro and Ultimaker 2
Hi, yes it was the part on 008 holder, if you already reinforced the part I guess the problem is solved, support or not, I think the save way to print it is with support, but sure it can be done without, with a little luck.
Printing the body with a raft I think should work, but I think a little support will stop it from vibrating and make a smoother print.
Happy holidays :-)
Numbers- I will update pins to be more tight.
Thank you for feedback
while your body fallen down, it was with raft? U 2, happy holidays
No, I was just printing with a 10mm brim.
Yep thats it, body is quite heavy, needs raft
Dannie, did you print your tires in flexible material? BTW, your print looks very nice.
No, I just printed it in PLA, and it was at perfect fit, but i think flexible would be cool and the right thing to go for, i just did not have any .
@Dannie Bindesbøl Hansen @Kenneth Neal Model of Wheel and model of Tyre has 0.2 mm gap :), but with flexi it dont make a noise while moving on the floor.
Also what filament and color did you use?
Hey, yes Prusamet mystic brown PLA for the body, and the rest is PLA from PM filament.
What I know it was prusament
